BluSmart collaborates with MG Motor India for 500 units of ZS EV
UK-based automaker MG Motor India recently collaborated with BluSmart EV ride hailing service and EV charging solution provider. As a part of this, BluSmart has placed an order of 500 units of MG ZS EV. The company operates a fleet of only electric cabs.
MG ZS EV: Range and pricesPowering the MG ZS EV is a 50.3kWh that offers a claimed range of 461km on a full charge. Paired with the battery pack is an electric motor producing 176.75PS and 280Nm of torque. With this, the electric SUV can go from zero to 100kmph in 8.5 seconds. Charging the battery from zero to 80 per cent via a 50kW charger takes a claimed 60 minutes, while a 7.4kW Type-2 AC charger can fully charge it in nine hours. The ZS EV Excite variants costs Rs 23.38 lakh (ex-showroom) and the ZS EV Exclusive variant is priced at Rs 27.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

With this, BluSmart is expected to save tonnes of tailpipe emissions. In fact, the brand says that with 5.8 million rides completed; it has already saved 13,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Moreover, the EVs in its fleet have clocked 200 million kilometres. Not to mention, BluSmart also installs EV charging stations. It has set up around 2,000 charging points. Meanwhile, BluSmart currently operates in Delhi NCR region.
