BMW 6-series 50 Jahre M Edition launched in India at Rs 72.90 lakh
As part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the BMW M, BMW India today unveiled a special "50 Jahre M Edition" of the BMW 6 Series in India. Priced at Rs 72.90 lakh, the exclusive BMW 630i M Sport 50 Jahre M Version edition is available (ex-showroom).
Instead of the standard BMW symbol, you receive the M Emblem as part of the 50 Jahre upgrades, which adorns the front and rear wheel hub caps and was inspired by the vintage "BMW Motorsport" badge. Tanzanite Blue Metallic, M Carbon Black, Bernina Grey Amber Effect, and Mineral White are the various colours for this limited-edition vehicle.
With an extra M Accessories Package, buyers can also give every detail a sporty flair. The exterior is upgraded as part of the Motorsport Pack, which goes further. Along with dominating 19-inch 647 M Light alloy wheels in Jet black, it also has a BMW kidney grille in high gloss black and a key fob made of carbon fibre and Alcantara.
The BMW 6 series 50 Jahre M Edition comes with a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, equipped with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, has been rated to produce a maximum output of 258PS and a peak torque of 400 Nm, with a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of under 6.5 seconds. An 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic gearbox is included with the engine.
The usage of the standard adaptive 2-axle air suspension, which has a self-levelling function that keeps a consistent height regardless of the load, is one of the car's important performance advantages. Additionally, the car has a unique Driving Experience Control button that allows you to move between the Comfort, Comfort+, Sport, Sport+, and Adaptive driving modes.
The vehicle has a contemporary cockpit design inside. The 12.3-inch digital instrument display, 12.3-inch Control Display, and 3D Navigation are all included in the BMW Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7.0. The usage of BMW Virtual Assistant, which enables passengers to control a variety of functions simply by speaking, adds to the car's modernity.
