The BMW X3 M40i has been launched in India, with pricing beginning at Rs. 86.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The model, which will come into India via CBU, will be offered in limited quantities. The X3 M40i is the X3 SUV's performance variant, and it shares its powerplant with the BMW M340i sedan. Bookings for the X3 M40i are now open with a nominal fee of Rs 5 lakh.

Aside from the full-blown M variant, the BMW X3 M40i is the sportiest version of the X3. The X3 M40i is available in Brooklyn Grey and Black Sapphire.
