BMW X7 SUV sold out for MY 2019 - next batch available in 2020
BMW X7, the flagship SUV from the German marquee was launched in India in the final week of July for the ex-showroom cost of Rs 98.90 lakh. The company now states it has already sold out units for 2019. While the company has started accepting bookings for the same, the next batch of the X7 SUVs will be delivered from January next year.
Speaking of the BMW X7, the company offers two variants at this price - xDrive 30d and the xDrive40i. While the former (diesel) is locally assembled, the latter (petrol) variant is a CBU (completely built-up unit).
The diesel variant xDrive 30d gets an in-line six 3.0-litre engine producing 265PS at 4,000rpm and 620Nm at 2,000-2,500rpm. The petrol variant also uses an in-line six 3.0-litre producing 340PS at 5,500-6,500rpm and 450Nm at 1,500-5,200rpm. The diesel variant has a 0-100kmph time of 7 seconds whereas the petrol variant does the same in 6.1 seconds.
