Bookings for the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga commence ahead of its debut on April 15
In India, the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV has been teased ahead of its arrival in 2022. Bookings for the MPV have now commenced at a token amount of Rs 11,000.
Minor visual changes will be made to the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, as well as a revamped feature list, a new engine and transmission, and a new CNG option. The facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be launched on April 15.
The new grille inserts and reworked dual-barrel projector headlights offer the front end a nice update. On the inside, the dashboard layout is expected to remain unaltered. The facelifted MPV, on the other hand, will have the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno's upgraded 7-inch Smartplay Pro infotainment system. This system has a new user interface as well as linked automobile technology.
A 1.5-litre DualJet Dual VVT engine with clever hybrid technology will power the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. This engine will be available with a new six-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters, as well as a five-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki is expected to price the facelifted MPV a little higher than the Rs 8.12 lakh starting price on the current model. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will take on the likes of the newly launched Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo and its sibling the Maruti Suzuki XL6, which is due for a facelift later this year.
