Bounce Infinity and BPCL team up to set up battery swapping stations in 10 cities across India

Bounce Infinity, an Indian electric vehicle company, has partnered with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to build EV battery switching stations at BPCL's fuel stations across the nation. More than 20,000 gas pumps with such services will be available as a result of the strategic cooperation between the two companies, which will be dispersed throughout roughly ten cities.

Bounce Infinity is one of the few electric two-wheeler companies in India that uses interchangeable batteries. Both electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers will benefit from Bounce Infinity's battery switching technology, which will be available at BPCL retail locations.

The Bounce Infinity switching stations operate in a similar way to a gas station. Customers will be able to replace their nearly-empty batteries with charged and ready-to-go batteries at Infinity battery swapping stations in under a minute. Customers would no longer have to wait for the scooter to charge, be concerned about the range, or remember to charge it if this infrastructure was in place.

Bounce Infinity's energy infrastructure has witnessed over 1.2 million battery swaps; this cooperation with Bharat Petroleum, which operates a dispersed network of over 20,000 gasoline stations, reaffirms the company's pledge to make the swapping network available to customers.

Commenting on the partnership, Vivekananda Hallakere, Co-Founder & CEO, Bounce, said, "Bounce Infinity has been strategically partnering with prominent industry players to revolutionize the battery swapping scenario. This partnership reiterates our commitment towards a cleaner and pollution-free country by making our network accessible to consumers at the same scale and convenience as refuelling. We look forward to a long-lasting partnership between Bounce Infinity and BPCL".
