Breitling Chronomat Bentley BO1 42 revealed

Breitling and Bentley have a long-standing relationship and a legacy of creating mechanical timepieces for purists. Breitling has brought back the Chronomat, a mechanical watch from 1984, in its redesigned avatar for the current times. Breitling says that it can "travel from the beach to the red carpet in the same day, and look perfectly at home in either setting."

The Chronomat Bentley edition is one of a full collection of six Breitling chronograph watches and features a 42-millimetre stainless steel case with Bentley-typical green dial and black contrasting chronograph counters. The case-back is transparent and features the Bentley lettered insignia. The case is complemented by a matching stainless-steel integrated Rouleaux bracelet with a butterfly clasp. Like the original Chronomat from 1984, the rider tabs at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock are interchangeable, for either a "count up" or "count down" function. The Chronomat is powered by the Manufacture Caliber 01, Breitling's in-house mechanical movement which boasts a power reserve of about 70 hours. The Chronomat Bentley Edition BO 1 42 is priced at 7,900 euros (~ Rs 6.75 lakh).
