BSA Gold Star 650 launched in India; prices start at Rs 3 lakh
BSA Motorcycle entered the Indian market today with the launch of the new Gold Star 650. This retro roadster has been priced from Rs 2,99,990 (ex-showroom).
BSA Gold Star 650: ColoursThe Gold Star 650 comes in six paint options and its price varies depending on the colour. The Insignia Red and Highland Green are the most inexpensive colour options at Rs 3 lakh. Then, the Midnight Black and Dawn Silver cost Rs 3.12 lakh. The Shadow Black has been priced at Rs 3.15 lakh, whereas the range-topping Silver Sheen - Legecy Edition comes with a sticker price of Rs 3.35 lakh.
BSA Gold Star 650: Features & hardware
BSA has given it telescopic front forks, dual rear shock absorbers, 100/90-18 front tyre, 150/70-17 rear tyre, single discs at both ends (320mmm and 255mm), twin-pod instrument cluster, and a USB socket. It has a seat height of 780mm and weighs 213kg.
BSA Gold Star 650: Engine specificationsPowering the Gold Star 650 is a 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing 45PS at 6,500rpm and 55Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. This motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. As claimed, the top speed is rated at 160kmph.
