BSVI compliant TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Apache RTR 160 4V launched in India
TVS has launched the BSVI variants of the Apache RTR 200 4V and the Apache RTR 160 4V. The motorcycles have seen a substantial hike in their ex-showroom cost, however, mechanically and cosmetically the motorcycles remain unchanged. The variant wise breakup of the prices are as follows:
BSVI TVS Apache RTR 200 4V - Rs 1.24 lakh
BSVI TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Rear-disc) - Rs 1.03 lakh
BSVI TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Rear-drum) - Rs Rs 99,950

The Power rating for the Apache RTR 200 is 20.5 PS at 8,500rpm and 16.8Nm of torque at 7,500rpm - The torque is down by 1.3Nm. Mechanicals stay the same and the Apache RTR 200 4V gets a five-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The RTR 200 4V uses oil-cooling for heat management. The RTR 200 4V gets disc brakes on either end with ABS and rear wheel lift sensor.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V gets power rated at 16.02 PS at 8,250rpm and 14.12Nm at 7,250rpm. The torque number is down by 0.68Nm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The RTR 160 4V gets a single-channel ABS. Both the motorcycles get telescopic suspensions in the front along with a mono-shock in the rear.
