BYD eMax 7 Highlights

The eMax 7 gets a major update to its design, such as redesigned face and rear end, a new set of wheels, and fresh colours. As seen in the teaser, the eMax 7, for the first time, could be available in either a six or seven-seat layout, unlike the outgoing five-seat model.

Inside, the cabin features a minimalist appearance thanks to the revamped dashboard and a centre console alongside a new steering wheel. There is also a new 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument panel, leatherette upholstery, a wireless charging pad, and ventilated front seats. Other features are likely to include a panoramic sunroof, six airbags, connected car tech, 360deg camera, TPMS, all-wheel disc, ESP, hill hold assist, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and ADAS.

BYD eMax 7 Powertrain

The eMax 7, known as the M6 in some international markets, comes with two battery pack options: a 55.4kWh pack with a claimed range of 420km and a 71.8kWh unit with a range of 530km. A single electric motor produces 163PS/310Nm or 204PS/310Nm depending on the battery pack. The eMax 7 also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
