CF Moto 250NK, 400NK, 650MT and 650 NK motorcycles to be launched in India on July 4
Chinese motorcycle brand CF Moto will be making their official debut in the country on July 4. The company will be entering India with its partnership with AMW Motorcycles which has no connection with AMW trucks. While the invitation mentions of a range of motorcycles that will be launched in India without any specific names, we believe the range will consist of 250NK, 400NK, 650MT and 650 NK motorcycles, that will cater to the entry-level, middleweight and also the popular ADV segment which has gained a lot of traction lately.
CF Motor claims to develop, manufacture, market and deliver the world's most reliable and cost-effective motorcycles, all terrain vehicles, side-by-side utility vehicles, and powersports engines, parts, gears and accessories. Founded in 1989,CF Moto has developed 98 models of vehicles and 51 models of engines, which are distributed through its 1900 companions worldwide. The company has been already testing a a few of the above mentioned motorcycles in India and is also planning to set up an assembly plant in India. We believe this will help CF Moto attain greater volumes and also price their motorcycles in an aggressive manner against some of the popular rivals likes the KTM 390 Duke, Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the Suzuki Versys 650 positioned in the different segments.
The CF Moto 650MT is an adventure tourer motorcycle that will compete against the Kawasaki Versys 650, Benelli TRK 502X and the SMW Superdual T. The street naked version of the 650MT, called the CF Moto 650NK will go up against the Kawasaki Z650. The 650MT sports a LED DRLs and projector headlamps up front. The test mule that has been spotted in India is equipped with an engine guard and hand guards. The adventure tourer uses a tubular steel diamond frame and houses a 650cc parallel-twin engine. It produces 56PS at 9,500rpm and 62Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The 250cc offering from the Chinese manufacturer could be the 250NK that will rival the market segment occupied by the Honda CB300R, Bajaj Dominar and the KTM 250 Duke.
