The India-bound 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer facelift was first unveiled in March this year at the Bangkok Motor Show. The production ready version was unveiled around two months later. We have revealed before that Chevrolet India is expected to launch the 2017 Trailblazer facelift in early 2017.
Ahead of the Trailblazer facelift launch, Chevrolet India has slashed prices of the current Trailblzer SUV by around Rs 3 lakh. The Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in one LTZ trim which was previously priced at Rs 26.99 lakh. The Chevrolet Traiblazer LTZ now costs Rs 23.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Trailblazer facelift gets an even more aggressive design than the outgoing model. The styling updates include a chiseled bonnet, new clear lens headlamps with integrated DRL's, a new grille and new alloys while the front bumper now houses large air vents. On the inside, the cabin looks plusher and gets an all-new dashboard. The MyLink infotainment system gets Android Auto and CarPlay as standard.
The Trailblazer facelift will retain the engine from the outgoing model which is currently on sale. The 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine makes 200PS of power at 3,600rpm and 500Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Chevrolet Trailblazer facelift gets new suspension and brakes. This is expected to have improved the vehicle's dynamics.
