Citroen Basalt: Prices and Variants explained
Citroen has launched the new Basalt coupe crossover in India at a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Booking for the all-new car is currently underway and these introductory prices are valid only until 31 October 2024. The Basalt is available in 3 different variants - You, Plus, and Max.

Citroen Basalt: Powertrains
The 2024 Basalt comes powered by two engine options: a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol unit makes 82PS and 115Nm, while a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor produces 110PS and 190Nm (205Nm with AT). Transmission options include a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, and a six-speed automatic. In terms of mileage, the five-speed manual returns 18kmpl, while the six-speed manual and six-speed automatic give out 19.5kmpl and 18.7kmpl, respectively.
Citroen Basalt: ColoursThe Basalt is available in a choice of five single-tone paint schemes: Garnet Red, Steel Grey, Polar White, Platinum Grey, and Cosmo Blue, along with Polar White with a Platinum Grey roof and Garnet Red with a Perla Nera Black roof dual-tone shades.
