Citroen Basalt Vision global debut on 27 March
Citroen has provided a sneak peek of its upcoming Basalt Vision, a compact coupe SUV, ahead of its global debut scheduled for tomorrow, on March 27, 2024. The Basalt Vision marks an eagerly anticipated addition to Citroen's lineup, generating significant buzz after months of speculation and numerous rounds of spy shots. Set to be unveiled imminently, the Basalt Vision is poised to enter the market in the latter half of the year, adding to Citroen's diverse offerings and positioning itself above the C3 Aircross SUV in the lineup.
Citroen Basalt Vision: Design & InteriorThe Basalt Vision is expected to bear a blend of familiar Citroen styling elements and modern styling that sets it apart from the crowd. It is likely to feature split LED headlamps, a large grille, a Citroen signature grille, and perhaps a full-length LED bar at front or rear.
Inside, Citroen could offer a large touchscreen infotainment system, an analogue or semi-analogue instrument cluster, automatic temperature control, wireless charging pad, electrically adjustable ORVMs with auto-fold, an auto-dimming IRVM, push button start/stop, connected car tech, and ventilated front seats.
Citroen Basalt Vision: PowertrainPowering the Citroen Basalt Vision is likely to be the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering robust performance with 110bhp and 190Nm of torque. It could be paired with a choice of a six-speed manual or torque converter transmission.
