Ducati e-Scrambler is an electric bike priced at USD4300$

If you have always dreamt of owning a brand new Ducati but that premium price tag was a deterrent, worry not as now you can. The most affordable Ducati that you can get your hands on, the e-Scrambler has been revealed. While it is being called the Scrambler, e-Scramber is an urban ready and trekking electric bike that has been developed in collaboration with Thok eBikes. It is priced at USD4300$, which translates to Rs 3.22 lakh, (excluding duties and taxes). The overall weight of the e-bike is 22.5kg.

The e-Scrambler comes with an aluminium frame and is equipped with 250-Watt Shimano Steps E7000 motor with 504 Wh battery and Pirelli Cycl-e GT tyres. Further, it comes with Sram NX 11-speed gearbox, Sram 4-piston brakes, Suntour XCR 34 coil forks, Thok handlebar with 760mm length, Ducati Ergonomic grips, Ducati Comfort Plus saddle, 80 Lux output front and 11 Lumen rear lights and lastly an adjustable kick stand. The E7000 motor can churn out a maximum of 60Nm and weighs 2.8kg. Ducati, however, has not revealed the riding range of the e-Scrambler at one full charge.

Ducati mentions, the low centre of gravity and the geometry of the frame allow the e-Scrambler to offer the same riding sensations as a traditional bike, making it in fact the ideal companion for the city or to enjoy the country roads. The supplied telescopic seat post also increases comfort, allowing the rider to get on and off the saddle easily and guaranteeing safe support during stops. The Italian two-wheeler brand will also offer complete set of accessories essential for daily use such as luggage racks, mudguards, stand and signal lights.
