Ducati Hypermotard 950 Concept showcased at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

If you have always wished to spot a collection of exotic automobiles, there is no better place than the Concorso d'Eleganza. You have already read about the Rolls Royce Wraith Eagle VIII. And now Ducati has taken this platform and showcased the Hypermotard 950 Concept. The Italian exotic motorcycle manufacturer also won the first prize in the 'Concept Bikes: New Design and Prototypes by Manufacturers and Independents category. Will this encourage Ducati to bring something similar as a production version based on this concept, the company hasn't mentioned of any such plans.

As stated by Ducati, the concept bike highlights the light and aggressive character of the Hypermotard 950 which has been achieved with the help of the redesigned bodywork and a compact full LED projector. The Ducati Hypermotard 950 Concept features technical details inspired by the MotoGP bike and a high impact graphic design inspired by urban graffiti. As seen from the images, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 Concept  does look rad and a big reason for that is the loud paint job. Be it the tank panels, the front beak, the compact rear panels or the dual-tone wheels, this one is seriously a looker. We can just imagine how gorgeous this one would look going sideways on a race track, leaving a cloud of smoke from the drifting tyres.

The 2019 Ducati Hypermotard comes with a Bosch six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU) to detect the bike's roll, yaw and pitch angles instantly. The electronics package includes Bosch Cornering ABS with the Slide by Brake function (with setting 1), Ducati Traction Control EVO (DTC EVO), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down EVO (as standard on the 950 SP version and available as an accessory on the 950). It is offered with the revised 937cc Testastretta 11 degree twin motor. This engine produces 114PS of power, that is an addition of 4PS over the previous-gen SP, while the torque rating stands at 95Nm. A majority of which is accessible from as low as 3,000rpm.
