Exclusive: Here's what the KTM RC 390 could look like, show us what you think

The internet was abuzz with the release of images of the ADAC Junior cup racer bike based on the upcoming KTM RC 390 this week. We've gone one further and rendered what we think the bike could look like. For a race bike, we think the cup racer looks remarkably close to a production unit.

The specs of the racer are very similar to what we have in the KTM 390 Duke. Visually, apart from the obvious fairing and Akrapovic exhaust, there's no mistaking that they're based on the same platform. The wheels, suspension bits, brakes â€" all are remarkably familiar. We do see some differences in the rear sub-frame, and the racer comes in at a feathery 130 kilos, compared to the slightly heavier Duke. The clip-on bars also look a tad high to our eyes. We also don't think the street RC 390 will come with a side-mounted muffler. The Duke's underslung unit is more likely to make it to production.

The race bike is also down on power compared to the Duke, with a 38hp motor â€" likely due to race regulations. With a 44PS motor, if KTM is able to keep weight in check, this could be a cracker of a track tool!

If you were wondering why we left the rendering white, it's because we want you to show us what you think the upcoming KTM RC 390 should look like. Photoshoppers, start your apps and show us what you think this pocket rocket can be. Just click the image above and download the HD image. Render your artwork on the image, make up a JPG and post it in the comments below. We'll send what we think are the ten best designs a large-format print of your creation signed by Team OVERDRIVE. The top artwork will be featured in the September Anniversary issue of OVERDRIVE magazine.

We'd like to see designs that are in-sync with the KTM design aesthetic; something that might inspire them for the upcoming street bike.
