Facelifted 2021 Volvo XC60 mild-hybrid petrol launch in India at Rs 61.90 lakh
Volvo Cars India has launched the Volvo XC60 in India with a new mild-hybrid petrol engine at Rs 61.90 lakh for the single fully loaded variant. Alongside, the Swedish brand has also revamped the mid-sized luxury SUV with a mid-life facelift. The Volvo S90 sedan has also received similarly changes concurrently, moving Volvo to a petrol-only line up in India.

The big change with this update is the inclusion of the new Android-based infotainment system. The upcoming XC40 Recharge comes fitted with the same system, the first car infotainment system with Android integration and with the ability to run Google apps and services. A four-year Digital Services package that can be further renewed gives owners full access to these functions that includes Google Assitant, Google Maps and access to the Google Play Store for more apps. Also added is a new PM 2.5 air filter and a phone-based suite of connected car features.
Aside from this, minor visual updates have been made on the outside. These come in the form of a new grille, new front bumpers, and new exterior colour and wheel options. New materials and colour options have also been added for interior upholstery, these include leather-free and the City Weave textile material, in keeping with Volvo's renewed focus on sustainability.

An updated suite of driver assistance systems has been included with this update which includes adaptive cruise control, pilot assist, lane-keeping aid, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, collision mitigation support (front), collision warning and mitigation support (rear), 360-degree camera and parking assistance (front, rear and side).
2021 Volvo XC60 facelift petrol engine, specifications
The facelifted Volvo XC60 is now powered by a 2.0-litre mild-hybrid four-cylinder turbo-petrol that puts out 253PS and 350 Nm and pairs with an eight-speed Aisin torque converter gearbox. The SUV also come with an AWD system with drives modes and adaptive air suspension.
