When compared to the 3 Series, the 4 Coupe is longer, while the 2809mm wheelbase remains the same. It is 15.2mm wider, and comes with a roofline which is 68.5mm closer to the ground. The sporty planted look comes from the combination of the design language from the 3 Series with a silhouette that's similar to the elder sibling, the 6 Series.

The inside remains very similar to the 3 Series, only with steeper screen angles and race-positioned seating. Heated leather seats, a 6.5" touchscreen with BMW's iDrive, sport seats and 18" alloys (except SE) come as standard fitments.
