Hero commences deliveries of Mavrick 440 in India
Hero MotoCorp announced the commencement of customer deliveries for its new neo-retro roadster, the Mavrick 440, across India, on 15 April, 2024. The event was marked by an appearance from Dr Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, who personally handed over the Mavrick 440 to a few lucky customers at the Hero Premia dealership in Gurugram, Haryana.
The Mavrick 440 offers a variety of colour options across its three variants. The Base variant, which comes with spoke wheels, is available in Arctic White. Then, the Mid variant, featuring alloy wheels, is offered in Celestial Blue and Fearless Red. The Top variant, equipped with machined alloy wheels, can be selected in either Phantom Black or Enigma Black.
Hero Mavrick 440: Engine and PerformanceThe motorcycle is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled SOHC engine that it shares with the Harley-Davidson X440. This engine produces 27.3PS and 36Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Hero Mavrick 440: Features and Specifications
The Mavrick 440 comes equipped with several modern features, including an LCD instrument console with turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. The motorcycle is also outfitted with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers for a comfortable ride. Additional features include dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety, an automatic headlamp, a slipper clutch, all-LED lighting, and a USB charging port.
The Mavrick 440 also boasts an e-sim connectivity function with various features. It has a seat height of 803mm and weighs 187kg (or 191kg with spoke wheels), making it suitable for a range of riders.
Hero Mavrick 440: CompetitionThe Hero Mavrick 440 competes against notable rivals such as the Triumph Speed 400, Harley-Davidson X440, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, and Royal Enfield Classic 350.
