Hero Karizma XMR receives 13,688 bookings; deliveries to commence in Oct

Hero MotoCorp has revealed that the new Karizma XMR has garnered 13,688 reservations since its bookings commencement on 29 August, 2023. It also announced that the dealer dispatches of the motorcycle are already underway and customer deliveries will begin this month. The introductory 1,72,900 (ex-showroom) price on the motorcycle was applicable only until 30 September, while the new cost Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom) came into effect on 1 October. It is to be noted that the bike maker will reveal the new bookings re-opening date soon.

New Hero Karizma XMR: Powertrain

Powering the new Karizma XMR is a new 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled four-valve DOHC engine that producing 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. It comes coupled to a six-speed gearbox.

New Hero Karizma XMR: Highlights

The motorcycle is available in a choice of three colour schemes: Turbo Red, Iconic Yellow, and Matte Phantom Black. Besides this, Hero has given the Karizma XMR a new all-digital cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, LED lights, backlit illumination for the switchgear, a slip-and-assist clutch, and dual-channel ABS. In terms of the hardware, it comes equipped with conventional telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock with preload adjustability, an adjustable windscreen, single disc brake setup at the front and rear, and 17-inch wheels.

New Hero Karizma XMR: Rivals

The new Hero Karizma XMR compete against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 (Rs 1.92-2.06 lakh), KTM RC 200 (Rs 2.18 lakh), Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Rs 1.72 lakh), and Yamaha R15 V4 (Rs 1.82-1.97 lakh).
