Hero's upcoming 125cc TVS Raider rival spotted testing

Hero recently launched the new Xtreme 160R 4V in India and also revealed its plans to launch new two-wheelers. While the most awaited motorcycle from the brand is the all-new Karizma XMR 210, the bike maker also appears to be developing a 125cc sporty commuter motorcycle to rival the TVS Raider and Bajaj Pulsar 125. In fact, a fully camouflaged test mule of the new Hero motorcycle was recently spied testing in India.

Upcoming Hero 125cc motorcycle design

As seen in the spy pictures, the test mule of the new Hero 125cc motorcycle features a sporty and aggressive styling. Wrapped in chequered camouflage, the motorcycle gets a sculpted fuel tank with oval-shaped design elements on the sides, tank shrouds, a distinctive headlight reminiscent of the Kawasaki Z1000, split seat, split and angular grab rails, and alloy wheels. More importantly, all lights, including the headlight, taillight, and indicators, are LED units.

Upcoming Hero 125cc motorcycle specifications

Hero's TVS Raider rival, if the spy photos are to go by, will get a single disc at the front and drum setup at the rear. It will also come with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Moreover, the bike is likely to get a fully digital display with Bluetooth connectivity.

Upcoming Hero 125cc motorcycle engine

The new Hero 125cc bike is likely to be powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. Hero Meanwhile, it is believed that the upcoming Hero 125cc sporty commuter could be called the Xtreme 125R. Above all, Hero MotoCorp could likely to price the new 125cc motorcycle between Rs 85,000 and 90,000 (ex-showroom).
