Honda City Elegant and Amaze Elite Editions launched in India
Ahead of the major festive season, Honda has launched the City Elegant Edition and Amaze Elite Edition in India. Based on the V variant of the standard model, the City Elegant Edition is available across manual and automatic transmission options. While the manual variant costs Rs 12.57 lakh (ex-showroom), the automatic variant is priced at Rs 13.82 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the other hand, the Amaze Elite Edition is based on the VX variant of the Amaze and its prices start from Rs 9,03,900 (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 9,85,900 (ex-showroom). This special edition of the sedan is offered in manual and automatic transmission options.
Honda City Elegant and Amaze Elite Editions: Highlights
To start with, the Honda City Elegant Edition features several changes over the standard model, including front fender garnish, Elegant Edition badges, a wireless charging pad, a spoiler with integrated light, special upholstery with 'Elegant' lettering, and scuff plates with lights. Whereas, the Amaze Elite Edition comes with a rear spoiler with LED light, front fender garnish, new seat covers, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system), a tyre inflator, illuminated scuff plates, Elite badges, anti-fog layer for ORVMs, and sliding front armrest.
Honda City Elegant and Amaze Elite Editions: Powertrain
The Elegant Edition of the Honda City gets the 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 121PS and 145Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a six-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission. Further, the Amaze Elite Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol unit that makes 90PS and 110Nm of torque. It is paired with a five-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
