Honda Elevate achieves 20,000 units sold in 100 days
Honda Cars India has reached a key milestone with its latest product, the Elevate. Within 100 days of its release, the mid-size SUV exceeded the 20,000 unit sales mark. Honda has held many major delivery ceremonies recently, handing over 100 vehicles to consumers in various locations.
The Elevate has also offered a significant sales boost for Honda, accounting for more than 50 percent of total sales in the previous three months. Honda had an 11 percent YoY sales gain with Elevate from September to November.
This five-seater SUV from Honda was unveiled in June 2023 and is available in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. In terms of colour options, Honda will offer Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, and Phoenix Orange Pearl. Notably, Honda has reserved the bright Phoenix Orange Pearl shade for the VX and ZX. The three dual-tone paint jobs are available with only the top-spec ZX trim.
Powering the Honda Elevate is a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. It produces 121PS and 145Nm of torque. In terms of fuel efficiency, the manual Elevate claims 15.31 kmpl, while the CVT claims 16.92 kmpl.
Honda has loaded the Elevate with several features such as the new 10.25-inch touchscreen system, a seven-inch display with an analogue cluster, an electric sunroof, a lane watch camera, connected car tech with smartwatch connectivity, Alexa assistant support, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-dimming IRVM, leatherette upholstery, six speakers, wireless charging pad, LED headlights and fog lamps, ESC, six airbags, up to six airbags, and electronic stability control (ESC). The Elevate also features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The Honda Elevate is priced from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 16.28 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes toe to toe with Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and Citroen C3 Aircross.
