Honda Elevate prices to be announced in the first week of September
We first saw the new Honda Elevate SUV in early June, when it made its global premiere in India. It has been available for booking since early July for Rs 5,000, and it has now been announced that the Elevate will be on sale somewhere in the first week of September. Test drives are expected to commence around the same time followed by the deliveries of the vehicle.
The Honda Elevate will come with a choice of four variants, starting from SV, V, VX, and top-of-the-line ZX. While the manual gearbox will be available across the board, the automatic transmission option will be offered from with the V variant onwards. As a result, there will be overall seven variants, including manual and automatic.
In terms of colour options, Honda will offer Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, and Phoenix Orange Pearl. The VX will come with only two paint jobs: Platinum White Pearl and Lunar Silver Metallic, while the V variant will offer four additional shades, namely Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, and Radiant Red Metallic. Notably, Honda has reserved the bright Phoenix Orange Pearl shade for the VX and ZX. The three dual-tone paint jobs are available with only the top-spec ZX trim.
Honda Elevate Powertrain
Powering the Honda Elevate is a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. It produces 121PS and 145Nm of torque.
Honda Elevate FeaturesA 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch semi-digital driver display, and a single-pane sunroof are among the highlights of the small SUV. Push-button start/stop, auto temperature control and cruise control are all available. Honda has outfitted the Elevate with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), six airbags, a LaneWatch camera (located on the left ORVM), and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
The Elevate is expected to start at roughly Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and the incoming Citroen C3 Aircross.
