Hyundai Creta Facelift: Variants and Powertrains

The new Hyundai Creta will be offered in 7 different variants: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, SX (O) and 6 mono-tone and 1 dual-tone colour options. Robust Emerald Pearl, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey are among the monotone colours. The dual-tone model, on the other hand, comes in Atlas White with a black roof.

The Creta facelift will also be offered with three powertrains and a choice of four transmission options. This hot-selling mid-size SUV will be available with three engines: a 1.5-litre NA petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel, and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol. A six-speed manual, six-speed iVT, six-speed automatic, and a seven-speed DCT gearbox will handle transmission duties.

The new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that we already see in the updated Seltos produces 160PS of max power and 253Nm of peak torque. Transmission choices for this engine include 6iVT and 7DCT.

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Exterior and Interior Updates

The Creta facelift will have a fully new front face that includes a reworked grille with a parametric jewel motif, improved projector LED headlights, H-shaped LED DRLs, a new bumper, freshly designed 5-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, and linked LED taillamps at the back.

Hyundai will include amenities such as a 360-degree surround camera, blind spot monitor, heated front seats with ventilation, a completely digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, updated HVAC controls, and more. The most significant upgrade to the equipment will be Level 2 ADAS, which will include active safety features like automated emergency braking, lane keeping assist, lane change warning, and more.

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Pricing

Currently, the Hyundai Creta range starts from Rs 10.87 lakh onwards and goes up to Rs 19.20 lakh. With the update, we assume that the starting price of the Creta would rise slightly higher than Rs 11 lakh, but since the updated Kia Seltos base price still undercuts that mark, we could also expect Hyundai to do the same.
