Hyundai Exter sunroof variants are now more affordable

Hyundai has introduced two new Exter variants, thereby bringing down the cost of the micro-SUV's sunroof. With the Exter, the Korean automaker has now introduced new S(O)+ (MT) and S+ (AMT) variants at Rs Rs 7.86 lakh and Rs 8.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

Up until now, the Exter's single-pane sunroof was only offered on the SX specification level. With the introduction of these new variations, the sunroof becomes more reasonably priced by Rs 37,000 for manual models and Rs 46,000 for automatic models.

All additional equipment, with the exception of the sunroof, is carried over from the trim below it. Therefore, the two new models are equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, all-power windows, rear AC vents, LED daytime running lights, and more.

Six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-ascent control, ISOFIX child seat installation, 3-point seatbelts for every seat, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are among its many safety features.

A 1.2-litre petrol engine with 83 PS and 114 Nm powers the new Exter models. The gasoline engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission in the S (O) + version and a 5-speed AMT transmission in the S+ model.
