Hyundai Exter unveiled and bookings underway
Hyundai India has begun accepting pre-orders for its upcoming Exter micro-SUV in the country. The car may be reserved by depositing a refundable deposit of Rs 11,000 at any of the Hyundai dealerships across India or even via the Hyundai India website.
The Hyundai Exter is essentially the Hyundai Casper that is available in South Korea and even though this may be the smallest SUV in the brand's portfolio, Hyundai is banking big on this becoming a very successful product in India.
Hyundai Exter will be available in five trim levels: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect. It will be available in six single-tone and three dual-tone colour schemes, as well as two new and unique paint colours called Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki.
The Hyundai EXTER will be offered with three powertrain options: a 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) with a 5-speed manual gearbox (5MT) and Smart Auto AMT (Automated Manual gearbox), and a 1.2-litre Bi-fuel Kappa petrol and CNG engine with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Hyundai Exter has the brand's iconic Parametric front grille, as well as H-shaped LED DRLs, Projector headlights, and a Sporty skid plate. It also receives the exclusive EXTER symbol on the hood. It will be outfitted with diamond-cut alloy wheels and blacked-out wheel arches and side sill cladding. The floating roof design, as well as the parametric design C-pillar garnish and sporty bridge-style roof rails, distinguish the micro-SUV.
