Hyundai Venue Knight Edition launched in India; prices start at Rs 10 lakh

After introducing the Creta Knight Edition in May 2022, South Korean automaker Hyundai launched the Venue Knight Edition in India today with prices starting at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition version of the sub-four meter SUV is available across two engine and transmission options. Notably, it is offered with a choice of three variants: S (O), SX, and SX (O).

New Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Highlights

The Venue Knight Edition comes in four single-tone and one dual-tone paint schemes, such as Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Gray, and Fiery Red, including Fiery Red with Abyss Black.

Hyundai has given the Venue Knight Edition several black design elements, such as a radiator grille, roof rails, shark-fin antenna, and ORVMs; brass-coloured inserts for front and rear bumpers, front alloy wheels, and roof rails; Hyundai logo finished in brass, rear brand symbol in dark chrome, Venue Knight Emblem logo on the tailgate, and red brake callipers.

On the inside, the Venue Knight Edition features an all-black theme paired with brass highlights, 3D mats, and new leather and fabric seat upholstery in black with contrasting brass-coloured. The speical edition SUV also boats a few new features, namely a dashcam with dual camera, metal pedals, and auto-dimming IRVM.

New Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Features

The Knight Edition of the Venue boasts a range of features, including six airbags, ESP, VSM, brake assist, hill hold control, an electric sunroof, telematics (RSA, SOS, and Bluelink), TPMS, LED projector headlamps, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Home 2 Car with Alexa, paddle shifters, puddle lamp, and idle engine start/stop, among others.

New Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Powertrain

Powering the Venue Knight Edition is a 1.2-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated Kappa petrol engine making 83PS and 114Nm of torque and 1.0-liter, inline three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor that produces 120PS and 172Nm of torque. While the former comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the latter can be had with a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
