After seven long years, Audi will finally give us an all-new A4 this year. The brand is boldly claiming that this car will be the best in its segment. To see what all fuss was about, we went to Bhubaneshwar, Odisha to drive the car, and came back rather impressed. While the exterior design does bear some resemblance to the outgoing model, the interior is all-new and could be the best one in this segment. Here's an image gallery from our first drive, to give you an idea of how it looks.
The new Audi is very handsome car with the neat creases and a sharp-looking front-end
The front-end of the A4 looks rather aggressive with the large grille and the sculpted bumper
The new headlights with the dual DRLs add to the A4's sharp front-end design
The Audi A4 features 17-inch wheels which look quite unique. They should be very practical too with the 225/50 section Hankook Ventus S1 tyres
The new A4 measures 4,726 in length with a wheelbase of 2,820mm. In comparison, the outgoing model is 4,701mm long and had a wheelbase of 2,808mm
The Audi A4's side profile looks a bit to0 conservative with its simple straight lines. However, the long shoulder line extending from the bonnet to the taillight, accentuates its length and width
The rear of the A4 looks a bit more interesting with the integrated spoiler and the neatly creased bumper
The all-new interior is certainly the best part of this update. It looks very modern and there is a lot of attention to detail
The virtual cockpit is a nifty feature which can be set to display trip info, navigation data and infotainment options
The large gear knob looks and feels very upmarket
Rear knee room in the 2016 Audi A4 is quite impressive, and the seats are comfortable
