Ford will soon launch the new generation Endeavour in India. From the looks of it, the new Endeavour looks modern and urbane compared to the earlier generation offering. The boxy lines and dated theme has been replaced with a dynamic, more contemporary design. It also goes in line with the design of the international line-up.
The cabin layout too has been refurnished and comes fitted with tonnes of equipment -Â it has a larger TFT touchscreen system with a new user interface and a host of options. Ford will also offer Sync and MyKey as standard on all variants.
The new Ford Endeavour comes with two diesel engines. The 2.2-litre TDCi motor makes 160PS of power at 3,200rpm and generates 385Nm of torque at 1,600 to 2,500rpm. The engine comes with an option of 6-speed manual transmission and 6-speed automatic transmission. Two- and four-wheel drive trains come with the manual transmission while the automatic comes in two-wheel drive only.
The larger displacement 3.2-litre TDCi engine churns out 200PS and 470Nm of torque and comes with a sole six-speed automatic transmission and dedicated all-wheel drive. The new Ford Endeavour will come in three trims and might be priced between Rs 2o and 27 lakh. Scroll down to get a better look at the 2016 Ford Endeavour.
