TVS has just launched the new Victor 110. And it looks nothing like the old motorcycle. Although it gets a more contemporary design, it won't really stand out amongst its rivals. But it gets a front disc brake which isn't quite common among motorcycles in this segment.

The new Victor's 110cc engine is from TVS' Ecothrust series of engines. But it has received several changes to improve power and refinement. TVS claims that the engine makes 9.6PS and that the new Victor can hit 60kmph in 7.2 seconds - you can find out more from our ride report and upcoming road tests. Until then, here are some images from our first ride of the new TVS Victor 110.

The new TVS Victor is built on a new frame that uses the engine as a stressed member

The motorcycle handles very well and is quick to turn into corners

The suspension set up is on the stiffer side while the ride quality over bumpy roads is a bit harsh

Like most of these commuters, even the ergonomics have been designed keeping in mind comfort as the primary prerequisite

The Victor now brings a more contemporary design philosophy to the table

It gets a front disc brake â€"something that isn't very common in this segment

The engine has lots of low down torque and it pulls cleanly from under 20kmph in 3rd gear and from 20kmph in 4th

The rear twin shocks are 5-step adjustable

The seat is nice and roomy and comes with a red stitching

The TVS Victor 110 gets hazard lights too, much like the Star City+ and the Phoenix 125
