Image Gallery: A closer look at the Bajaj Pulsar 125
The smallest capacity Pulsar has been launched in India. The Pulsar 125 is based on the same platform as its elder sibling - Bajaj Pulsar 150 and shares most of the cycle parts with it. The Pulsar 125 has been priced at Rs 64,000 for the drum brake variant and the disc brake variant costs Rs 66,618 - all prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
At this price point, the Pulsar 125 rivals the Honda CB Shine SP, Hero Glamour and its own sibling, the Discover 125.

The styling is very familiar as it is identical to the Bajaj Pulsar 150
The headlamp assembly is a halogen unit
The motorcycle we rode had a matte paint scheme with blue highlights
A gloss black colour scheme with red highlights is on offer as well.
The instrument cluster design remains the same analogue with an LCD screen.
The quality of switchgear was impressive as well
The motorcycle gets CBS (combined braking system)
A disc brake in the front and a drum brake assembly in the rear requires some getting use to the working of CBS
The engine is a 125cc air-cooled unit, which is essentially based on the 150's
Bajaj Pulsar 125 is the only motorcycle to get gas filled rear shock absorber, the other motorcycle in the segment is the Discover 125
The handlebar position is fairly low, however, the position of the footpegs offer a relaxed rider's triangle.
