Image Gallery: Custom motorcycles at Harley Rock Riders 2015
The bands played their choicest hits. The crowds swayed to the sound of the drums and electric guitar and the venue was buzzing with energy. Adding to the excitement were motorcycles from the Custom Champion contest that represented the unique design view of five of the best customisers who used the Harley-Davidson range of motorcycles to express their ideas. Here's a compilation of the five motorcycles.
1. Motomiu Sabertooth
The Motomiu has an appealing and purposeful stance
The Sabertooth is based on the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight
The triple-T has been machined in house at Motomiu
A steering damper had to be incorporated to handle the power from the 1200cc V-twin
The rear section of the frame was machined in-house to incorporate the monoshock
WP forks
2. Godspeed  Alecia
Alecia is based on the Harley-Davidson Superlow
Notice the springs and damper that form the front suspension
Pin stripe work looks fantastic
It may seem busy but the lines on the tank add to the visual drama
The crown that doubles up as the fuel filler cap is a personal touch for a customer
3. TJ Moto-Nadia
Nadia is based on the Harley-Davidson Iron 883
The wheels and tyres were imported to form the retro design
The frame tube that runs over the tank gives the motorcycle a floating tank effect
4. EMIOR- Highway to Hell
That's a Street 750 with an XL size fairing
The duo are mainly artists and use a motorcycle as their canvas. The paintwork is excellent and there are many details that require you to, yes, stop and stare
That's the hell in Highway to Hell
Note the bony rear view mirror stock. Halloween special?
The fairing is too large and looks out of place
5. TNT-Urja
Urja is based on the Street Bob but sadly, it looks a lot like the original. Amidst the competition she was bland
The Street Bob wheels look cool
