In pictures: India-spec Nissan X-Trail
Nissan has set the stage to bring back its popular SUV, the X-Trail, to India in August 2024. The fourth generation model, for the Indian market, gets a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine (with a 12V mild-hybrid assistance) producing 163PS and 300Nm of torque. However, the Japanese automaker has decided to offer a front-wheel-drive setup with the SUV. The X-Trail available in other markets come powered by a strong hybrid powertrain.
The key highlights of the India-spec X-Trail include 20-inch alloy wheels, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch driver display, seven airbags, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone temperature control, wireless charging pad, 360deg camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and paddle shifters, among others.
