BMW recently revealed the new 5 Series long wheelbase in India and has also opened its order books on 22 June. It will be launching the 5 Series LWB in the market on 24 July alongside two offerings from Mini and the BMW CE 04. The new generation saloon will be produced at the brand's Tamil Nadu plant. India is going to be the first market to receive the right-hand drive version of the 5 Series long wheelbase.
With primary focus on the rear-seat comfort, the 5 Series LWB benefits from a variety of features, such as Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, four-zone temperature control, upgraded rear seats with distinctive leather upholstery and headrest cushions, and a fresh dual-tone theme. It also carries over the BMW Curved Display comprising a 12.3-inch driver display and a 14.9-inch central information hub, and crafted clarity glass controls, among others.
