Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition launched at Rs 25.39 lakh
Jeep has introduced the Compass Night Eagle Edition in India, with a starting price of Rs 25.39 lakh. It is based on the Longitude (O) variant and is a blacked-out version of the Compass SUV.
The Night Eagle Edition's seven-slat grille, roof rails, emblems, and 18-inch alloy wheels are all blacked out. The blacked-out roof and ORVMs complete the exterior design. It is available in Pearl White, Brilliant Black and Exotica Red with a contrasting black roof.
Jeep is providing a special edition version that includes front and rear dashcams, a rear entertainment unit, luxury carpet mats, underbody illumination, ambient lighting, and an air purifier as standard. Other amenities include a panoramic sunroof, linked technology, and a wireless charger.
The Compass Night Eagle continues to be powered by a 170PS/350Nm of torque 2-litre diesel engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic. This model is only available with front-wheel drive.
Pricing for the Compass currently starts from Rs 20.49 lakh and the Night Eagle Edition is supposedly priced from Rs 25.39 lakh onwards. We haven't received an exact variant-wise pricing for this special edition SUV though. The Jeep Compass rivals the likes of the Tata Harrier, VW Tiguan, Citroen C5 Aircross, and Hyundai Tucson in the Indian market.
