JLR unveils new Range Rover Long Wheelbase and its uber luxurious Autobiography Black trim

Land Rover has officially revealed images of the new Range Rover Long Wheelbase and its new range-topping trim the Autobiography Black. The Range Rover Long Wheelbase (LWB) Autobiography Black will make its debut at the Dubai Motor Show, while the regular LWB Autobiography and the LWB Autobiography Plus will be showcased at the upcoming 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show and the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show. The new Range Rover, which is the first the first long wheelbase RR in 20 years, has a more spacious VIP transporter with an extra 140mm more rear leg room. Rear seats can be bucket or bench with the bucket seats getting increased reclination of 17 degrees. It also gets door blinds, panoramic sunroof and 'L' badging near the front wheel.

The Range Rover Long Wheelbase (LWB) model

Aimed at the very top end of any competition, the Autobiography Black gets some subtle exterior tweaks like titivated grill, badges and alloys, but the bulk of the gloss is kept for the interior, with TV screens in the back, chiller compartment, special leathers, massage rear seats, LED mood lighting, extended centre console and electric leather tray tables in the back. Coming from Jaguar Land Rover's 'Engineered To Order' (ETO) division, the LWB Autobiography Black also gets polished 7-spoke 21-inch and a 22-inch wheel options, redesigned rear center console with tables and USB sockets and cup holders and programmable settings for each seat.
