Keeway slashes prices of K300 R and K300 N

Hungarian two-wheeler manufacturer Keeway has slashed prices of the K300 R and K300 N in India by Rs 55,000 and Rs 30,000, respectively. As a result, the K300 R now costs Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom), while the K300 N comes with a sticker price of Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom).

Keeway K300 R and rivals' price difference
Since the price of the K300 R - a fully faired motorcycle from Keeway - has been cut considerably, it is now somewhat on a level with its rivals in terms of cost, such as the TVS Apache RR 310 that costs Rs 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom). For reference, the other closest rivals of the K300 R, the BMW G 310 RR and KTM RC 390, cost Rs Rs 2.95 lakh and Rs 3.16 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively. With this, the K300 R at Rs 2.65 (ex-showroom) has become the most affordable offering in its segment. Meanwhile, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 at Rs 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom) is the most expensive among its rivals.

Keeway K300R: Engine
The K300 R is powered by a 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This motor makes 27.8PS and 25Nm of torque.

Keeway K300 N and rivals' price difference
After the slashed price, the K300 N now costs Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the BMW G 310 R is priced at Rs 2.80 lakh, while the KTM 250 Duke comes with a sticker price of Rs 2.36 lakh (both ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Honda CB300 R and CFMoto 300NK cost Rs 2.77 lakh and Rs 2.29 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively.

Keeway K300 N: Engine
Powering the K300 N is the same 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 27.8PS and 25Nm of torque as the K300 R. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
