Kia India completes the sales of 2 lakh Seltos in 2 years
Kia India is celebrating two years of operations in India by achieving three consecutive milestones. Kia celebrates the two lakh sales landmark of its flagship product for India, the Seltos, just a few months after being the quickest carmaker in India to reach three lakh sales. The company also affirms a leading position in the connected car revolution with 1.5 lakhs connected cars sold.
The Seltos accounts for almost 66 percent of Kia's total sales in India. While the highest variations of the Seltos account for 58 percent of sales, the vehicle's automatic transmissions account for more than 35 percent. In less than four months since its introduction, the Seltos iMT version has also gained a lot of attention.
1.5 lakh Connected Cars sales, on the other hand, demonstrate the brand's technological development and grasp of the large Indian market. While the Seltos continues to be the leader in this category, accounting for over 78 percent of all linked Kia sales, the Sonet accounts for over 19 percent. The customers pick in the Seltos lineup is theHTX 1.5 Petrol version.
Kia arrived in India at a time when the Indian automobile sector was already slowing because to the Covid-19 epidemic, only a few months after its debut. However, the firm adapted quickly to shifting trends and evolved to provide safe and secure experiences while also meeting the evolving demands of today's customers. Kia India has recently launched an integrated solution app 'Kia Digi-Connect', an industry-first video-based live sales consulting solution. Kia provides a variety of alternatives for a better ownership experience thanks to its customer-centricity and innovation-first strategy.
