Kia Seltos gets new HTK+ variants; features list updated across all variants
Kia India has launched two new models to its Seltos SUV lineup. The Seltos is now also available in the HTK+ petrol CVT and HTK+ diesel AT versions, which cost Rs 15.40 lakh and Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. With the addition of two more variations, the Seltos now comes in 26 trim levels, with prices for the 2024 Kia range starting at Rs 10.89 lakh, ex-showroom, effective April 1.
The Kia Seltos is offered in India with 3 powertrain options - 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The Seltos petrol CVT was previously only available in the HTX model, but now with the introduction of the HTK+ version, the transmission is Rs 1.20 lakh more affordable.
Similarly, the diesel AT version was available in the HTX, GTX+ (S), GTX+, X-Line (S), and X-Line models. The new Seltos HTK+ diesel AT version costs Rs 1.30 lakh less than the HTX model and thus replaces it as the entry-level variant for the diesel automatic.
The HTK+ trim is also claimed to be the most popular variant of the entire Seltos lineup and to make that even more desirable, Kia India has added a few more features to this variant. The new HTK+ model now includes features such as a two-pane panoramic sunroof, drive and traction control modes, paddle shifters, star map LED-connected tail lights as well as a new Aurora Black Pearl colour scheme.
