KTM 390 Adventure S official bookings open
KTM has started accepting official bookings on its website for the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure S and the 390 Enduro R that was seen at the IBW. We can expect the launch by mid-January in 2025. Interested customers can book the bike for a token amount of Rs. 2,ooo, which is fully refundable.
The company is yet to disclose specs and other details of the bike, but we can expect the following features on the KTM 390 Adventure S, a TFT dash with Bluetooth tethering, cruise control, an underbelly exhaust, adjustable WP USD front fork, 21-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel, both wheels are tubeless and spoked.
Other noteworthy mentions include a single piece seat, upswept exhaust, grab rails for the pillion rider, and a visor for wind protection. It will house the 398.63cc engine that we have seen on the KTM 390 Duke which will make about 47-50PS of power and 39-40 NM of torque.
The KTM 390 Enduro R will sport a 21-inch spoked tyre up front and an 18-inch wheel at the rear, both tyres will be tubeless.
The existing line up of adventure bikes include the 1290 Adventure S, 890 Adventure R, 390 Adventure, 390 Adventure X and the 250 Adventure.
The KTM 390 Adventure S will lock horns with the Royal Enfield Himalayan which will set you back by Rs. 2.85 lakh, ex-showroom. Other offerings in the same class includes the Suzuki V-Strom SX, Yezdi Adventure and Royal Enfield Scram 411 to name a few.
The official site of Royal Enfield also shows the Scram 440 as an upcoming bike in 2025. It is likely to sport the same Sherpa 452CC engine that pushes 40.02PS and 40NM of peak torque.
