Lamborghini announces its 50th anniversary celebration plans
Automobili Lamborghini which has got its 50th anniversary lined up in 2013 has announced celebration plans for the same. Two exclusive events for vintage car enthusiasts, the Concorso Italiano and Quail were the locations where Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann unveiled the company's logo for its 50th anniversary celebrations. He also gave a preview of the program for the 2013 celebrations.
The 50th Lamborghini Grand Tour, touted to be one of the biggest rallies in the company's history will be attended by Lambo dealers and owners from all over the world. It will run the length of Italy. The celebrations will start on May 7 with the cars assembling in Milan and on May 9, they will set off towards Rome. The next day, the cars will depart towards Bologna arriving later at Emilia-Romagna's capital. May 11 will mark the closing of the celebrations with the procession headed towards Lamborghini's factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese. The evening will round off with other events and entertainment programs.
