Lamborghini Huracan STJ will be the last of its name with only 10 units set to be produced
Lamborghini has announced the end of the Huracan and its V-10 engine with a final special edition. Based on the track-ready STO variant, the Huracan Super Trofeo Jota (STJ) will be limited to just 10 units worldwide and has a couple of unique liveries and styling changes.
The STJ's aero package is unique to the car, expanding on the STO's bits with additional little scoop-like wings on the side of the bumper, a more aggressive rear wing angle for 10% more downforce, adjustable race-derived shocks with special tuning, and unique Bridgestone Potenza Race compounds.
Lamborghini will offer two liveries. Buyers can choose between two liveries: Grigio Telesto with a Nero Noctis roof, Rosso Mars, and Bianco Isi details, or Blu Eliadi with the same accessory colours. The inside is black Alcantara with red contrast stitching.
The powertrain is the same, with a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine producing 640PS and 565Nm at a whopping 8,000rpm. This drives the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, although Lamborghini has not released performance estimates, it is believed to rival the STO's 3-second 0-100 kmph pace.
Lamborghini will only produce 10 STJ cars, marking the end of the Huracan's 11-year manufacturing cycle. The Huracan successor will be introduced later this year but without the NA V-10 engine. Instead, it is believed to feature a smaller, turbocharged engine as part of a hybrid powertrain.
