Lamborghini Revuelto to make Indian debut tomorrow: What should you expect?

Lamborghini looks all set to launch the Revuelto in India tomorrow. The new flagship from Sant'Agata Bolognese replaces the Aventador in the Italian brand's lineup and is powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain, making it the first series Lambo to have an electric powertrain.

Lamborghini Revuelto: Performance

Powering the Revuelto is the new 6.5-litre mid-mounted L545 engine Lamborghini's lightest and most powerful 12-cylinder engine, weighing only 218kg. The engine produces 825PS and 725Nm of torque. The engine can redline up to 9,500rpm. Then, there are 3 e-motors - one in the back and one at each front tire and are driven by a 3.8kWh battery pack located in the car's central tunnel, which is small by EV standards but should provide enough power to propel the Revuelto for up to 10 km.

The Revuelto has a total power output of 1,015PS. An 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox replaces the Aventador's single-clutch/AMT unit. The 0 to 100kmph sprint is claimed to be in 2.5 seconds and the top speed is 350kmph.

Lamborghini Revuelto: Design and Interior

The Revuelto's design is an evolution of the Aventador. The automobile has a wedge-shaped profile with Y-shaped parts all around. New aggressive front and rear bumpers, 20 and 21-inch front and rear wheels, and the iconic scissor doors on both sides are also present.

Most of the design work has also focused on aero efficiency, with the Revuelto's front aerodynamic load increasing by 33 percent and the rear load increasing by 74 percent when compared to the Aventador Ultimae.

The infotainment system comprises a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, an 8.4-inch centre display, and a 9.1-inch passenger-side display. In addition, the Revuelto will be the first Lamborghini to have a comprehensive sophisticated driver-assist system powered by cameras, radar, and other sensors. Active lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, lane change warnings, and rear cross-traffic alerts are all included.

The new Revuelto will directly rival its Italian counterpart, the Ferrari SF90. As for the price, we don't see Lamborghini placing this raging bull anywhere below Rs 6 crores.
