LAUNCHED! 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V priced at Rs 1.38 lakh
Hero MotoCorp has updated the Xtreme 160R 4V with a variety of updates for the model year 2024. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 1,38,500 (ex-showroom), making it a tad costlier over the previous model. It is also to be noted that the 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V now comes in a single variant, unlike its predecessor.
2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: DesignThe refreshed Xtreme 160R 4V keeps the overall design but features a redesigned tail section and a new exhaust cover. There is also a fresh Kevlar Brown paint scheme besides the Steath Black and Neon Shooting Star colours. The single-piece seat, which was earlier available with the lower-spec variants, is now standard for the 2024 model. Whereas, the sporty split seat is no longer available.
The updated taillamp also brings Emergency Stop Single or Panic Brake Alert function, which, as the name suggests, warns the driver or rider behind by blinking the brake lights while panic braking. Last but not least, it continues with the Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument panel, but there is a new drag race time that lets the rider record acceleration times.
2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Features & hardware
The Xtreme 160R 4V as a part of its MY2024 update boasts the dual-channel ABS as standard. Apart from that, it carries over the 37mm KYB upside down front forks, a rear monoshock with seven-step pre-load adjustment, a 276mm front and a 220mm rear disc, a 100/80-17 section front tyre, and 130/70-R17 section rear tyre.
Its seat height stands at 795mm, while the ground clearance is 165mm. The 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V weighs 145kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.
2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Engine & power outputPowering the 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V is the 163.2cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled, 4-valve engine that makes 16.9PS and 14.6Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
