Lectrix EV receives 12,000 bookings for its LXS G3.0 and LXS G2.0 e-scooters

Lectrix EV, the electric two-wheeler arm of the SAR Group, recently introduced the new electric scooters in India, called the LXS G3.0 and LXS G2.0. Now, the company has announced that its e-scooter duo received 12,000 bookings withing three weeks of their unveiling. With this, Lectrix EV aims to garner 50,000 reservations by the end of March 2024.Notably, the LXS G3.0 and LXS G2.0 are available across India at over 100 dealership partners of the EV start-up. The LXS 2.0 costs Rs 97,999 (ex-showroom, after FAME II subsidy), while the top-spec LXS G.3.0 is priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, after FAME II subsidy).

Powering the LXS G3.0 is a 3kWh battery pack paired with a hub-mounted BLDC motor that produces 2.2kW of peak power and 110Nm of torque. The e-scooter has an IDC range of 115km and provides a top speed of 60kmph in Power mode. Whereas, the Eco mode restricts the speed at 40kmph. In terms of charging, the 3kWh battery pack can be charged in a claimed four hours. The LXS G2.0, on the other hand, gets 2.3kWh battery pack coupled to a 1.8kW/90Nm Hub electric motor. This e-scooter gives out an IDC range of 98km and tops out at 55kmph in Power mode. Its battery takes about three hours to fully charge.

Lectrix EV has equipped the electric scooters with numerous features, such as navigation assist, keyless access/smart ignition, anti-theft assist, auto indicator, SOS alert, geo fencing, follow-me headlamp, and find my scooter, among others.
