Limited edition BMW 6 Series GT M Sport Signature launched 75.90 lakh
German luxury automaker BMW has launched the limited edition 6 Series GT M Sport Signature in India at Rs 75.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Locally produced at the BMW Group plant in Chennai, this special edition version is based on the 6 Series Gran Turismo 630i trim. Notably, it is available to book exclusively via the official BMW India website.
BMW has not given any major design overhaul to the new 6 Series GT M Sport Signature. Hence, it carries the same design as the standard model. However, the M Sport Signature gets new 'BMW LaserLight' LED headlights instead of LED adaptive headlamps of the regular model. Other highlights include dual L-shaped DRLs, chrome-finished wider kidney grille with active air intake flaps, signature LED taillights, and 19-inch M Light alloy wheels. It also comes with the BMW Display key. Meanwhile, the carmaker offers the 630i-bases 6 Series GT M Sport Signature in a choice of four metallic colour options, namely Carbon Black, Mineral White, Tanzanite Blue, and Skyscraper Grey.
BMW 6 Series GT M Sport Signature: InteriorInside, the cabin is draped in leather Dakota in Cognac theme with special decorative stitching and piping in Black. In addition, it comes with crystal door pins, comfort access system; powered comfort seats with memory, lumbar, and massage functions; a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 16-speaker, 464-watt Harman Kardon sound system, a 12.3-inch driver display, four-zone temperature control, and soft-close door. In the rear, the M Sport Signature gets two full-HD 10.25-inch screens with Blu-ray player, USB ports, and screen mirroring.
BMW 6 Series GT M Sport Signature: Features
The M Sport Signature of the 6 Series GT boasts two-axle air suspension, five drive modes, launch control, ambient lighting, welcome light carpet, active rear spoiler, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless charging pad, among others.
BMW 6 Series GT M Sport Signature: PowertrainPowering the 6 Series GT M Sport Signature is a 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder, twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine generating 258PS at 5,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. This motor comes mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission unit and can achieve 100kmph from zero in 6.5 seconds.
