Mahindra has over 2 lakh pending orders
Mahindra recently revealed the details of the pending orders for its offerings, such as the XUV700, Scorpio-N, Scorpio Classic, Thar and more. The overall yet-to-be-delivered orders stand at 2.26 lakh units as of 1 February, 2024, which was at 2.86 lakh vehicles in November last year.
Out of 2.26 lakh orders, the Mahindra Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic account for 1.01 lakh open bookings, resulting an average of 16,000 bookings per month, making it the most sought-after vehicle of the automaker. The Thar has the second-highest number of open bookings at 71,000, followed by XUV700 at 35,000. With this, the XUV700 and Thar received.. The pending orders for the Bolero/Bolero Neo and XUV300/XUV400 stand at 10,000 and 9,000, respectively. This indicates that the Scorpio-N and XUV700 have the highest waiting period of six and a half months in the line-up.
In terms of January 2024 sales, the diesel variants of the Mahindra Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic dominated the sales chart, representing for 94 per cent of the overall dispatches of the Scorpio range. Mahindra recorded a sales of 13,528 units of the Scorpio in the previous month, whereas the sales of the petrol variants stood at 765 units.
