Mahindra Scorpio Classic to be introduced on August 12

The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be introduced on August 12, according to Mahindra. After the pricing is revealed, the vehicle, which is essentially the previous-generation Scorpio, will be available alongside the Scorpio-N.

The S and S11 models of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic are anticipated to be available in 2022. Customers may also select between configurations with seven seats and those with nine seats.

A new grille with the "Twin Peaks" Mahindra logo, a reprofiled bumper, elegant LED DRLs on the front profile, new alloy wheels, and a body cladding appliqu on the side are just a few of the subdued external cosmetic modifications. The bumper will be modified in the back, and you'll get enormous vertical reflectors.

A new black and beige colour scheme will be used in the cabin, and the centre console will have faux wood accents. Additionally, a new aftermarket 9-inch touchscreen system with Bluetooth Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will be added.

It will be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and the 140PS and 319 Nm, 2.2-litre diesel engine from the Scorpio N. While the Scorpio N will come with a 4WD option, the Scorpio will come standard with rear-wheel drive.

Since the costs are likely to be lower than those of the outgoing model, the new Scorpio Classic is anticipated to have a starting price between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to provide as an alternative to small SUVs like the Skoda Kushaq and Hyundai Creta.
